I’m always leery of recipes from blogs. I have hit-or-miss experiences with them. But these cookies from Bake or Break are amazing, and overnight have become one of my favorites.

The whole wheat flour gives them wonderful nuttiness that you don’t normally get from chocolate chip cookies, and they are mellowed in sweetness by ripe banana. Don’t skip toasting your pecans before you mix them into the dough. I added 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon to the flour mixture, and it was great.
